Blueberries offer many benefits for runners, making them an excellent addition for a runner's diet. They are a great source of antioxidants. This allows them to help reduce inflammation and muscle soreness, both of which occur after we run. They therefore help promote recovery. Additionally, blueberries are packed with vital nutrients and vitamins like vitamin C and potassium, that help support muscle function, promoting optimal performance. By incorporating blueberries into our diets as runners, we can enhance both recovery and performance.
